PD FilmsFirst of all, I would like to tell you a little about myself, where I come from and what inspires me to produce, direct and cast members of the public into my films, within my independent film company, PD films.
I was born in Rochford, Essex, England, but now live in Basildon and I have been there the majority of my life, apart from when I was in the army. When I was young I was always making small videos of my younger brothers toys, making them stand in funny positions and adding voice commentary to make everyone laugh, which was good.
I got into film later in life when I saw a film by Matt Hawkings, and I thought after watching the film. “I could make a film better than that.” After this intro to film, I was hooked. I always aspire to be like my film mentor. Steven Spielberg, his films in my mind create the right connection to audiences around the world.
We are an established, accredited company with ten years experience and a wealth of knowledge in TV and Film.
