I have been using the olympus c8080 since Autumn 2005 and I must say it is one of the best semi professional cameras I have ever taken out for a quick photo shoot.
The camera ready speed from the moment you switch on is phenomenal, I've had cameras in the past which took quite a while before being able to point and click, sometimes missing a great photo opportunity.
Not only is the olympus fast but the quality of the images taken are so good you'd be forgiven for thinking they were taken with a 35mm SLR.
With true 8Mbs digital quality unlike those that claim 8Mbs and usually only have a usable 5 or 6Mbs, pared with it's usability and functions it's hard to find something to criticise about the olympus, but there is something and that is it's zoom function for a camera of it's size a measley 5x seems a bit of a let down but for what I mainly use the camera for it's perfect.
I would thoroughly recommend this camera to everyone!
