Is it time to refresh your arts management skills? Or perhaps you are new
to the field and would like a broad-ranging insight into the key skills
for any arts manager?
Why not apply for our ever-popular Essentials of Arts Management programme?
We are now accepting applications for 2007/08. The course consists of
four modules: Legal, Marketing, Finance and Working with People, plus new
sessions on communication and presentation skills.
The course is for first-time arts manager and more experienced people
working in all kinds of arts and cultural organisations and agencies.
The programme takes place on the following dates:
Intro day: 5th October 2007
Legal issues in arts management: 18th and 19th October 2007
Marketing the arts: 22nd and 23rd November 2007
Finance and the arts: 10th and 11th January 2008
Working with People: 21st and 22nd February 2008
Final day: 28th March 2008
There is an early-bird fee of £900 for the programme which applies up to
the 31st July, and includes all workbooks, handbooks as well as lunch and
refreshments on all study days. From 31st July, the course fee will
increase to £990.
Essentials of Arts Management is accredited by the National Open College
Network.
