ANIMATION IN BASILDON
- LOCO MOTION!
We have been running for over a year now - and making huge progress. Already we have gained massive support from many different people, and we have shown our skills and dedication by reaching a very high level with next to nothing! Until recently we were known simply as 'The Animation Club,' until we named our group 'Loco Motion.'
The point which is obvious to anyone who comes along to see us, is that quite simply no one has ever done anything like this before...
 We have just finished filming our big film project which is due to be finished and released by March 2006. The production of this film is supported by the Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light initiative. You can see our film listed at the top of the page on:

Now that we have completed the First Light project, we will be working on a number of smaller productions over the next few months.

Last year a fantastic new art centre was built on the grounds of Bardfield Primary school in Basildon, now known as Studios2.
The START (Support Through Art) group of artists in and around the local area of Basildon use this art centre to host their weekly art club - but START are also in management of this brilliant new club based on the unusual art form of animation, also hosted at Studios2.
