I wrote this some years ago now, at the time I was going through lots of changes in keyworkers and had, had several different mental health professionals in my life by this time. IMPORTANT TO YOU/IMPORTANT TO MEIs it important to you To know why I cry? Is it important to you To know the where's and the why’s? It’s been important to others But they turned it on me It’s been important to others But they betrayed me Why’s it important to you To know who I am? Why’s it important to you To know all that you can? Are you like the others Do you want the upper hand? Are you like the others I open up and then you leave? It is important to me To keep it all locked away It is important to me To keep what’s left of my sanity Is it important to you To really know it all? Is it important to you To look in my head? Or is it important to you To keep me safe? Is it important to you To keep what’s left of me? © Glenda PK
