Never ending

On the edge of madness

Sanity doesn’t reign

Looking in from the outside

What’s it like to be sane?

The truth is out there

Hidden through a veil

Trying to remember

A life before

Climbing the mountain

That is this brain

Fighting to get through this

Once again

Living the roller coaster

It’s light, then it’s dark

It’s up, then it’s down

Turning this life inside out

When will it be over?

When will it end?

I don’t know when it’s coming

Don’t know when it’ll go

Dreamtime is living

The nightmare won’t let go

Hanging on in there tight

Fighting the good fight

After the darkness

There’s always a dawn

After the storm

Arises the sun

Until the next time

I step into the rain
