Maria Moore's Encaustic Wax Tuition 

I am now able to offer tuition in the art of creating pictures with encaustic wax to people living in the Colchester and surrounding area.

There are two basic courses:

Beginners Course:

Basic encaustic painting using an iron
Stylus work
Tissue transfer
Mounting and framing work

Advanced Course:

Painting larger works
Working on canvas
Hot-air work
Working with the hotplate

Each encaustic wax course lasts approximately 2 hours and costs £30 per person.
