A poem about our friends the treesSmile

Trees And Bluebells Too

I lost another friend today, chopped down so man could make way,

but who is he to say where the concrete goes or where nature should grow.

Does a tree grow only by chance, or is it led by life's creative dance.

Why do we destroy what nature creates? are we so vain and blessed with hate.

Or is just the governments excuse for a higher council tax rate.

All I can say at the end of the day "i don't like your green filled fees! what I love is our big green trees and Bluebells too, what say you?"
