Art-SX is now ready to start making films and documentaries all thanks to Southend Arts Council, SOSAC have funded the purchase of a brand new HDD video camera to help in the new project. Under the watchful eye of Stan Denton, Art-SX will start adding video alongside the stills and special effects that are already being used to great effect to get messages across to viewers interested in Charity and the Arts.

The first group to be covered is Cheetah-UK a charity set up by local artist Len Denton. Len has done a lot of charity work around the UK but this latest project has been his biggest yet. Yes Stan is Len's son and has been closely working on the project since it all began back in 2006, Stan is also getting ready to take a trip out to Kenya some time in July to finish off filming. Stan studied media in Australia but never followed it as a career "Unfortunately my stepfather didn't support my creativity and thought I was a dreamer, so I went into manual labouring jobs instead, but we live and learn" States Stan, one of his latest acheivements is a video clip put together using just stills which you may watch below. Cheetah-UK has some big followers and is sponsored by Topps Tiles and Southend giant Keymed which is owned by Olympus.

The equipment is not just for Art-SX use and when redundant will be made available to local groups that have Southend Arts Council membership, but it's Stan's wish to use his talents to put together information films on all local groups and make them available for Southend residents as well as the huge online community.

Other projects Stan has in the pipeline is a local animation and film group for youngsters which he is currently putting together, this has all been made possible by local arts suppliers Westcliff Eco Art who have made studio space available.

If your a group, artist, organisation etc. and your involved in the arts, get in contact with us now to get listed for filming.
