Well it certainly has been a busy time for Art-SX over the past few weeks, our involvement in local community projects has increased and after the success of the charity art class visitor numbers are soaring.

This time last year visitor numbers where at 160 per day average, still quite good for a new website. When you take into consideration we had no financial help or even a budget to work to, no advertising and no one but myself working on the project I think you can safely say we didn't do too badly.

So what has changed? Well as you know I changed the site design just before the end of 2006, and I have been actively upgrading the site, some of the upgrades have worked others have let us down, I have spent a bit more time getting things organised and with less work to do on the site I have been able to concentrate on other avenues, events and ideas to help Art-SX grow.

What's the result? The visitor numbers have soarn to over 1000 unique visitors per day on average, that means a thousand different computers have search and found Art-SX, the people using those computers have either stayed and had a look round, whilst others have registered, this all means that your work is getting seen by more and more people.

Well to celebrate the success, I have now made available use of the gallery to all registered members, not just those with paid membership or those artists living in the local community, there still are many more benefits to paid membership though. Before I go though I would just like to say thanks to everyone, members visitors and those involved in other areas without you there would be no site, so pats on the back all round.
