August see Art-SX celebrate it's 2nd official birthday, and we are still going strong with over 80+ members and visitors from over 75 countries, but we are still lacking something, user interaction. I will be the first to admit there are still teething problems with the site itself, but we are constantly working on improving things for the best.
New bits and bobs include a direct news feed from the Southend on Sea Arts Council and a new forum, we would also like to welcome Amanda from Art4Essex as one of our new forum administrators.
We still have a lot to do, a new gallery is being looked into as there seems to still be some problems in that area, we have also moved servers yet again due to internal emails not being recieved on the old one, and also to speed up the site a little.
Charity art classes will be starting again in or around October time with an official Bob Ross instructor and we will be working with their official representatives here in the UK, plus there are more exciting developments on the way.
Unfortunately our application for an exhibition at Southend Library's main gallery space has been declined but we have been offered alternatives within the library itself and hopefully we will be holding some smaller exhibitions of your work there next year.
Well here's to another exciting year and hopefully another one to follow, take care all.
