Leigh Camera Club meets on Thursday evenings from September through May. Meetings are held at the Leigh Community Centre, Elm Road, Leigh on Sea. Essex. Guests are welcome at all meetings. Throughout the year the club schedules a beginners workshop, summer get togethers and exhibitions and participates in regional competitions. We are a friendly club to all with an interest in photography. People of all ages, whether beginner or more advanced, are welcome. Our programme is a varied one of lectures, practical evenings and several competitions with an Annual Exhibition of members work at the end of each season.

Thursday Meetings This is the main activity of the club with about 50 or so members attending each meeting for guest speakers, demos, competitions, fun evenings and much more.

Tuition Groups
A workshop for new members and beginners is run by Tony Estcourt and Dave Green to introduce the basic technical aspects of photography.

Studio Group
This friendly Group is run by Jeff Goodman which offers hands-on practical tuition of still life and portraiture at Jeff's studio. The events run throughout the season.
