If your new to Art-SX then you won't notice the changes that have been made, but if your a regular visitor then you may notice a few changes. We hope you've had an enjoyable holiday, we have been busy condensing the site and making it easier to navigate and whilst you've been clearing away the wrapping paper, we have added a few new features.

Art-SX community, if your registered you'll notice some changes to the user menu, there are also changes to the Tab menu in your profile, everyone is now able to create and then add images to their own gallery space, there is a new private messaging service allowing you to talk to other members, and of course the usual features like submitting news and blogs etc. etc.

If your a visitor the changes made should make using the site easier, for instance all news is under one heading, Art-SX News now covers all the arts in one place, but one of the biggest changes is the way we present members profiles. Select on of the below from the main menu search through the profiles and click on those you find interesting, you now have the option of selecting tabs to see that members content, for example their gallery, news items, blog, poetry and their input on our forum.

Visual Artists: This main menu item list members profiles who are involved in the visual arts alone, such as, painting, sketching, sculpture, photography, mosaics, crafts, animation and multimedia.

Authors and Performers: This menu selection will present all our members who are solely involved in the written word or performing, such as actors and dancers, Southend has a large number of performers and as a town we boast a number of theatyres and theatre groups, the same can be said of the Authors.

Jacks of All Trades: This lists members who are interested and follow more than one artform such as an artist who is also a keen photographer, or enjoys writing poetry as well as performing on stage, basically if your into more than one artform or enjoy combining artforms then most likely you'll be listed here for visitors to find.

Visitors Profiles: You don't have to be active in the arts to get listed, our new visitor profiles section allows you to show your support, not only are our creative members able to see who admnires their work but also allows visitors to have a constructive role within Art-SX, after all without you the visitor Art-SX is pointless.

New to Art-SX this year is our Television or video feed, this allows content videos to be placed automatically in Art-SX giving you access to some interesting video content, it's very new and may still have some teething troubles, but please by all means check it out and let us know your verdict. All videos come from Youtube and they should cover a variety of artforms.

We also now have an amusements page, this will help kill the boredom. Included on our amusements page is a jukebox, Sudoku, free online games and even daily Tarot card readings, all just for a bit of fun and relaxtion.

Well thank you all for making 2007 a good year, also thanks for all your help and comments which have guided us and allowed us to make the changes needed to make Art-SX even better for 2008, we hope you all have a fantastic year.
